The Strengths and Challenges Checklists series can help you to understand more about your child's strengths and weaknesses with their Executive Functions.

This checklist includes 40 Emotion Management skills in everyday life situations and a brief interpretation of the results.

Who is the checklist for? 

    Parents of : 

  • Children with Autism, ADHD, and other neuro-developmental conditions
  • Primary-school aged children (6 - 12 years). If your child at the lower end of this age range they will still be developing some of these skills. It may be suitable for young teens too
  • Children with persistent Impulse Control issues in any setting.

It is not indicated for children with: 

  • severe Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • a Learning Disability
  • Global Developmental Delay
  • little or no awareness of others in their environment
  • vey limited communication skills
